I need money to fix the kitchen and bathroom that I am buying.?

i am buying a house for the first time, it is huge but the cabinets are non-functional so I have to replace them a.s.a.p. The carpets are extremely dirty so I have to replace them as well. I don't have the cash now to fix them. I would like to know if I can ask the bank to add few thousands for the cost of the kitchen and carpet repair. Please let me know.

As for the cash back option they don't tend to give a whole lot of money back but enough to help out. Typically they are 1-3% of the purchase price. So, if you bought the house for 100K then you could get back something like $1000. Your lender will have some ideas for you.
