How can I clean kitchen grease on embroidered picture?

This embroidery has been hanging in my kitchen for some years and has kitchen grease, just from being in the kitchen, on it. I need to know how to clean it without ruining it. Thank you.

1. Take it to dry cleaner.
2. Try dawn if not then use Resolve grease cleaner.
3. put some soap on it and get a brush and scrub it but don't scrub it too hard or else the thread will get loose.
4. I would go with a solution of cold water and a very SMALL amount of Dawn Dish Detergent. Gently agitate the embroidered picture by hand. Rinse again with cold water. Good luck to you!
